Who will be the top Ones to Watch for you
In FIFA 23, the Ones to Watch promo will once again be used to kick-off the Ultimate Team season. If you can get a good one, it can set you up for months.
Last year Ones to Watch cards released alongside the game and this was the same again this year.
Ones to Watch cards will be available from the 30th of September – the day FIFA 23 releases. This is normally a two week promo, with two drops of cards accompanied by SBCs.
If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition of FIFA 23 before the 29th of September then you can expect one of these specials as part of the package when the promo drops.
Ones to Watch will be similar to many other promos in FIFA and will release at 6:00PM BST, on the 30th of September. There is a high chance we may see the official reveal of the players prior to the release, but we will have to wait and see.

We are also expecting more cards to drop on Sunday, as well as some SBCs and objectives over the weekend to continue the promo. We will likely see even more SBCs going into next week too, and we will continue to update this.

Erling Haaland is the player teased by EA in the confirmation tweet for the event. The Manchester City striker appears likely to get a healthy boost for FIFA 23 even before he gets this special.
Due to the form he has started the season with, we believe this card will be incredibly valuable as he is nailed on for at least a few Team of the Weeks over the course of the season.
Ones to Watch is a great thing to get you started in FIFA 23, because although they release at the same rating as the players base cards, with every Team of the Week they earn they get an upgrade. Ones to Watch cards are high risk but high reward.
FIFA 22 also introduced an additional +1 boost if the team they play for wins 5 of their first 10 domestic games after the game releases.
This is a huge incentive to try and get one of these cards early on if you can. A player like Haaland, playing for Manchester City could receive a +2 upgrade in no time at all.
Hopefully we will begin to see more FIFA 23 Ones to Watch cards in the coming weeks as we build up to FIFA 23’s release in just over a month.
