Get into the festive spirit as the annual Christmas Wonderland makes its return to Gardens by the Bay from Dec 2 to Jan 1, 2023.
Now in its ninth edition, visitors will be spoilt for choice with various attractions like the novel Whimsical Windmill, festive carousel rides and official Christmas Wonderland merchandise across six zones.
Located at the heart of Christmas Wonderland, St. Nick’s Square stars the Spalliera, a 21m tall attraction hand-crafted by Italian artisans.
Visitors will also get an opportunity to meet Santa Claus, take photos at Navidas Station and ride a Magical Carriage.
Festive huts will offer unique treats including Praffles (a combination of prata and waffles), Christmas-themed bubble tea from Sofnade and Sourbombes, which are bomb-shaped donuts stuffed with pastry cream.
Those who want to relive their childhood can also take a ride on the only double-storey Venetian horse carousel in Singapore, which requires a separate ticket.
For those looking to immerse themselves further in the festive season, there’s also the Garden Rhapsody Light and Sound Show featuring magical Supertree lights and festive tunes.
The Garden Rhapsody Light and Sound Show will run thrice daily at 7.45pm, 8.45pm and 9.45pm.
This edition of Christmas Wonderland also introduces a new kinetic light display at Gingerbread Cove. Built in a field of 250 candy canes, visitors can marvel at the sight of the 10m-tall Whimsical Windmill.
Gingerbread Cove will also see the Walk of Lights tunnel returning for a fourth edition, with the light display making use of 50,000 LED lights to illuminate the 50m tunnel in a myriad of colours.
Visitors can also look forward to experiencing snowfall down at Merry Lane’s Snowland, with illuminated igloos and polar bears providing countless photo opportunities.
You can also win yourself a souvenir at Games Village, where eight traditional carnival games and rides such as Fishy Fishy, Ring Toss and Bowling will be held. Participating in a game will cost visitors $6, and two games will cost $10.
Need to do some last minute Christmas shopping? Mistletoe Alley may just have what you need, with a wide variety of festive huts by vendors such as Candescent Box, Dollop Photobooths and Happy Rei.
Visitors looking to try out more festive treats can visit ELFresco, enjoying live festive performances while indulging in dishes curated by some of Singapore’s popular dining establishments.
Tickets to Christmas Wonderland are only available online. They can be bought for four sessions starting at 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm and 9.30pm.
From Dec 2 to Dec 15, advance tickets can be purchased at $8 for an adult and $6 for a child. Ticket prices for an adult will increase to $10 from Dec 16 to Jan 1, 2023. Same-day tickets can be purchased for the whole event duration at $12 for an adult and $6 for a child.
